Credit Card Charge and Shipping Policy
All orders are processed upon receipt. All items in stock ship within 48-72 hours once the order has been processed. **Due to verification process we are required to ship to the address where you receive your monthly credit card statements. In the event that you would like to ship to your business address, we require the company name and phone number and we would be able to ship there, provided this is the same state as your billing address and the business is verifiable. Additional information may be required if the billing and shipping addresses are in two different states.
We do not ship to hotels.
For your security all packages leaving our premises must be signed upon arrival.
When purchasing more than one main item (not including accessories) per order additional shipping charges may be imposed.
Order Processing
After submitting your order to us:
Order is reviewed/verified by management for legitimacy.
Provided the items you want are in stock, your credit card is then charged, credit card authorization and verification are placed on the order from our credit card processor.
We then proceed to pick and pack your order. Once your order has been entered thru our carriers shipping computer, a tracking number is then allocated to your order.
The tracking number is then automatically e-mailed to you and after the package leaves our warehouse, you may check with the carrier directly by contacting them.
If a product runs out of stock we will give you the option to either wait a short period until the items is received or refund your order. Our intention is to provide the best service to you before and after the sale. If you need to contact us you may call our customer service department at 410-592-2843.
Products may include the manufacturer's warranty. Prices marked with an asterisk (*) indicate that the price is after rebate.
Prices are subject to verifiable manufacturers' price increases and decreases.
Payment Policy
We accept all major credit cards and checks. USPS Money Orders must be made payable to The Thirsty Brewer.
Money orders or bank checks will be held for approximately 3 weeks. Upon clearance of funds your shipment will be sent out immediately.

Return and Refund Policy
All perishable items are not returnable after opened. Please direct all inquiries to manufacturer.
The Thirsty Brewer does not accept any returns on any perishable products.
1. All returns must be phoned in for a return authorization number prior to shipment to ensure proper handling of your return.
All return authorization numbers (RMA) are valid for fifteen days only!
2. Fifteen Day Refund Policy gladly accepted within fifteen days from the date of receipt of merchandise. Returned merchandise will be accepted by us only if all conditions A, B, C, D below are met. There is a 10% restocking fee on all merchandise returned, shipping and handling charges are not refundable. We are not responsible for any shipping charges of merchandise being returned to us. Any items that are opened or used are subject to a restocking fee even if they are returned within the fifteen day period!
A) All returns must include original factory box and/or packaging (foam, plastic, wrappings, etc.); blank, unfilled warranty cards; all instruction booklets and paperwork. Please do not deface original factory cartons or packaging in any manner. We will not accept a return if packaging is not in its original condition.
ALL ITEMS THAT ARE IN A BLISTER PACK (PLASTIC PACKAGING) MUST BE RETURNED EVEN THOUGH IT HAS ALREADY BEEN OPENED!
B) All returned merchandise must be in its original mint and clean condition. Returns on damaged or scratched merchandise will not be accepted.
C) All returns must include all the factory accessories which come with the item. For example, kit must include the bag, the hops, the malt, etc. No returns will be accepted if any of these packed items are missing.
D) All returns must be authorized by The Thirsty Brewer. Call for authorization number and instructions prior to shipping merchandise back. Enclose the original receipt or a copy of it with your return. Also enclose a brief letter of explanation of return and state your request for either a refund or an exchange. Please include the authorization number on this letter and not on the outside of the box.
3. If you elect to cancel your order, that was placed by check or money order, our three week clearance policy applies and we will refund your money after the three week clearance period. We apologize for this delay.
4. Perishable items which are opened or used will not be accepted for return!
5. Returned merchandise that gets lost or damaged in transit is not The Thirsty Brewer's responsibility, but rather the carriers'. It is the buyers responsibility to file claims with the carrier upon the discovery of the problem.
6. If you are not completely satisfied with the handling of the your order, please write to our customer service department manager, and we will do our utmost to satisfy your request.
Typographical Errors
The Thirsty Brewer's belief and practice is truth in advertising, and we aspire to publish accurate selling prices for the products we offer. However on occasion we do make mistakes. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, The Thirsty Brewer shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. The Thirsty Brewer shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, The Thirsty Brewer shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
Product images are for illustration only and descriptions of goods are for guidance only, and shall not constitute the contract 'sale by description'. Errors and Omissions excepted. We will promptly correct any errors brought to our attention.

Order Acceptance Policy
Prices are for mail order only. The Thirsty Brewer is a reseller to end user customers only and does not accept orders from other dealers, resellers, exporters, wholesalers, or customers who intend on reselling the product offered by The Thirsty Brewer. If you are one of the aforementioned please don't bother to order online or call in, for your order will be rejected.
We reserve the right to limit quantities. We do accept government, school and corporate purchase orders for larger quantities but these must be approved by The Thirsty Brewer's management.
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not constitute a final offer or contract. The Thirsty Brewer reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. All orders are subject to management review and approval and if found to be invalid due to any reason, are subject to cancellation by management. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order.
All orders over $1000 must be shipped to Consumer's Billing Address!
Sales Taxes
The Thirsty Brewer shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the state of Maryland. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other state.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability as to Products Sold
To the fullest extent possible pursuant to the applicable law, The Thirsty Brewer disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, with respect to products sold on the The Thirsty Brewer website, including but not limited to, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The Thirsty Brewer does not make any representations regarding the validity, accuracy or reliability of, or the results of the use of the materials or products on this site or on any sites linked to this site. You agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability to The Thirsty Brewer arising from any product sold on The Thirsty Brewer's site shall be the price of the product ordered. Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, shall The Thirsty Brewer, its officers or other representatives be held liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to harm to equipment and/or personal injury or death arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the products sold on this site.
All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship from our warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately at our phone number. We must be informed of all shipping related claims (e.g. damage, non-receipt) within 10 calendar days after the delivery date indicated by the carrier's tracking information.
Taxes for International Orders
International orders may be subjected to local import fees, customs, duty, or additional taxes in the country of destination.
The Thirsty Brewer is not responsible for, nor can offer any specific advice on import fees, duty, customs, or taxes that you may have to pay when your merchandise arrives. The Thirsty Brewer recommends that you contact your customs import office for more information about potential charges.
The Thirsty Brewer is not responsible for any taxes, duty, customs fees or shipping charges on any items being returned.
Privacy and Security
Placing an order: When you decide to place an order, you are asked to complete an order form. This form requires your name, billing and shipping address, credit card number and expiration date. You should also include other information such as your telephone number and email address to make it easy to contact you regarding your order if necessary. We use this information to make your shopping experience as hassle-free and pleasant as possible. We do not share this information with any third party.
We do not sell, exchange and/or distribute your email address or personal data to anyone without your permission.

Fair Credit Billing Act: Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, The Thirsty Brewer will cover the entire liability for you - up to the full $50.00. The Thirsty Brewer will only cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at The Thirsty Brewer while using the secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
Shipping Policies
For your security all packages leaving our premises must be signed upon arrival.
For orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico please select Two Day Air or Overnight delivery, as these orders cannot be shipped via ground delivery.
Guaranteed deliveries:
The Thirsty Brewer will always make every attempt possible to deliver product(s) ordered on time.
The Thirsty Brewer is not responsible for any delays that may be caused by affiliated Shipping carriers.
The Thirsty Brewer bears no responsibility for delays as a result of: Weather Storms, employee Strikes or any other complication caused on behalf of our affiliated Shipping carriers.
Rebates
Please be advised: We make every attempt to stay current with manufacturer rebates and rebate information on our site.
We are not responsible for late or incorrect attempts to redeem a rebate or any other reason a rebate is not redeemed or redeemable.
You as a customer are responsible to obtain, read and follow any manufacturer rebate guidelines necessary.
In order to assure that your rebate request will be honored, you will need to submit the serial number and UPC code (bar code) of your product as proof of purchase. These are located on the manufacturer's box so make sure not to discard this when unpacking your product. Please read your rebate form carefully and take note of all necessary requirements.
NOTE! Once a rebate request has been submitted for a product and/or the UPC code is missing from the box, the item is non-returnable to The Thirsty Brewer. Therefore, be sure that the product is working to your satisfaction and that you intend to keep it before filing for your rebate. If you have any questions please contact our customer service department prior to removing the UPC code from your product.
